If the student furthers their schooling, they can open other career possibilities, such as becoming a school principal or a college professor.

Once the education major has been completed, a licensing will occur in the state the student plans to teach in. This can include additional standardized testing to make sure the student has learned the necessary information. Many states have reciprocal licensing, so moving after becoming a teacher is not difficult to do.

The education major is an extremely worthy course of study, especially for those who like to work with young people. Those going into this field will find rewards far outweigh the cost.
