WGU Indiana is a newly founded, non-profit private university committed to providing quality education for online college students. The school was formed in a 2010 partnership between the state government of Indiana and Western Governors University. WGU Indiana’s College of Health Professions focuses almost exclusively on the rapidly growing field of nursing. Students can enter bachelor’s programs in which they can earn a B.S. in Nursing, (RN to BSN), B.S. in Nursing (pre-licensure) or B.S in health informatics. WGU’s nursing students can also choose to specialize their degree with a number of related concentrations including education, leadership and management and healthcare management.
The College of Information Technology at WGU Indiana offers six bachelor’s of science programs, two master’s of science programs and a master’s of business administration. Each degree deals with a specific element of the rapidly growing information technology field. Concentrations are available in information technology network, security, software and management.
The College of Business offers B.S. and MBA degrees in management, human resources, sales and marketing as well as the previously mentioned information technology management and healthcare management.
Of all the WGU Indiana online programs and classes, Teachers College is by far the largest.
