NSU offers more than 78 online courses. The school's motto of "beyond the classroom" exemplifies its solid efforts to make an online education not only feasible but as tangible as a traditional one. NSU is a pioneer in distance education and has many years of experience in this area.
When it comes to Master of Arts in Teaching and Learning, NSU has several options for established educators including curriculum and instruction, elementary math, elementary reading and K-12 technology integration. These courses are open to licensed practicing teachers and allow them to earn their master's degree while still working.
Some of NSU's classes are offered exclusively online while others can be taken in a combination of on campus and distance learning.
NSU is designed for success and even offers a break for the month of September to allow for student educators busy back-to-school schedules. The online program offers text, study guides, video and Web-based interaction and collaboration to give students an excellent education with content-rich knowledge. These courses can help teachers be more effective in their schools and help drive positive change.
