Grand Canyon University has been offering high-quality, private Christian education in Arizona since 1949. For its online students, Grand Canyon strives to make online learning as seamless as possible by using modern technology that provides students with a consistent format in each class. Students will begin a tutorial at the start of each course to familiarize them with the online structure, and students will have everything they need to in the online student account, including course syllabus, staff information, discussion boards, and a digital drop box to submit all assignments.
Grand Canyon University Online offers over 60 degree programs in education, nursing and health sciences, business, fine arts and production, and liberal arts. The school also strives to keep class sizes small to maximize instructor accessibility. They also use four-credit hour courses that allow students to complete degree programs in less time compared to traditional degrees.
The College of Arts and Sciences includes master’s degrees in health care, criminal justice, counseling, and psychology, and bachelor’s degrees in communications, English, history, counseling, health sciences, justice studies, psychology, and sociology. The College of Nursing offers a RN to BSN program, a number master’s degree programs in a variety of specialties, and several graduate certificate and bridge programs. The Ken Blanchard School of Business offers bachelor’s and master’s degrees in business administration, and most specialized fields of business like economics, accounting, and finance. Lastly, the College of Theology offers bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Christian studies with several different emphases, like leadership, ministry, and biblical studies.
Grand Canyon’s College of Doctoral Studies offers doctorate degrees in business education, and psychology. Business programs include a Doctorate of Business in Administration with an Emphasis in Management, while education doctorate programs focus on organizational leadership with four different fields of emphases to choose from. Grand Canyon also offers two different doctor of philosophy in general psychology.
