Benedictine University gives students two options: study online full time or blend online courses with weekend classes once a month.
Those people who like social interaction will enjoy the weekend sessions, where students get to meet their peers and faculty members. They will participate in group learning that will reinforce skills they are learning online.
Those who have busy schedules or who don't need as much social interaction will find that the exclusively online format suits them.
In either option, students are expected to complete all assignments on time and they should study at least 30 hours a week. Programs will take about two years to complete. There are nine programs to choose from, allowing for students to pick an area of specialization.
Benedictine is a respected university that treats its online program the same as a traditional classroom one. It insists that the same academic demands be placed on online and on-campus students. The only difference is that students will be able to save time by not having to commute to school.
Benedictine offers expert instructors in an online environment that is strict but teaches students what they need to know.
