The objectives of the BS degree in computer information systems program are to devise, apply, and analyze technical solutions to business situations, create and test computer information systems, perform project management and leadership skills, and articulate and write clearly and effectively, and promote information literacy and utilize problem-solving and analytical skills.
The program requires the completion of 124 credit hours. Course subjects include Accounting, Business Applications Programming, Business Management, Computer Forensics, Database Design, Database Management, Information Systems Security, Systems Analysis and Integration, Web Application Development, and Web Programming. Duration of completion for full-time status is 8 semesters.

Students who earn their degree online from DeVry University will be prepared to tackle many problems that occur in the business, health care, and law enforcement fields.
