The objectives of this information assurance program are to relate information technology to information assurance. Students will study information assurance management and the creation of solutions to possible information assurance security threats. Upon completion of this program, graduates will understand both business and technology concepts.
Courses include Cyberspace Law, Computer Forensics, Cryptography Systems, E-commerce Safeguards, Ethical Decision Making, Intrusion Detection Systems, and Organizational Philosophy. Graduates of this program are prepared for careers working for the National Security Agency, the Department of Homeland Security, or public or private security agencies.
