This program is designed for students who already have a diploma in CAD/drafting technology and wish to take the required courses to upgrade to an associate's degree. If they don't have the diploma, students are encouraged to take the full Associate of Science degree in CAD/drafting technology program at the High-Tech Institute, which partners with Anthem College Online. An associate's degree will arm students with more specialized training in CAD/drafting technology. Upon graduation, students can go on to career opportunities as drafters or CAD operators in such fields as architectural design, transportation, government services, construction and communications.
