The objectives of this executive JD program are to develop critical thinking, intellectual acumen, self-discipline, and effective communication skills. Students will become familiar with the profession of law and conduct research on statutory and regulatory laws.
The four-year part-time study necessary for the Juris Doctor program is not required for the executive JD. Many of the courses are the same, but schedules are more flexible. Graduates do not practice law; instead, they serve in advisory, research, and educational capacities.

The Concord Law School is an online law school that provides education to those who want to pursue a career as a trial lawyer, corporate legal counsel, or provide assistance as a legal expert. For those who do not want to practice law, but who own small businesses or just want to know more about law, they are also welcome to attend classes online.
Online learning from Concord Law School will provide students with an education that is similar to traditional law schools. Students will be required to review case studies and complete legal briefs, in addition to other assignments. Online lectures, classroom message boards, and email are the ways students communicate with other students and instructors. Students will work closely with instructors in order to understand the materials given to them. Instructors are always available when students need clarification or have other questions. These questions may be placed on the message board or emailed to the instructor.
In order to gain acceptance into the Concord Law School, students must have an undergraduate degree and meet the minimum grade requirements. Once accepted, students will begin their studies. Earning an online law degree will give people the time they will need to maintain their current jobs while honing problem solving skills and writing ability. Online classes enable students to look into what is available within the field of law. Many students do not become lawyers. They use their knowledge to secure government positions, leadership roles in corporations, or continue to run their own businesses with the advanced legal knowledge that will keep their business on the right track.
