Bowling Green State University (BGSU) offers an MS in criminal justice to graduate students interested in an advanced career in law enforcement. Through both practical instruction and internships, students will receive some of the best criminal justice training in the country. Since 1972, BGSU has operated a very reputable criminal justice department.
The MS in criminal justice is a 33-semester hour program than can pursued on a full-time or part-time schedule. Students can choose to end their degree with a master's thesis or a comprehensive exam. Upon graduation, students will be poised for a leadership position within the criminal justice field or a doctoral degree in a related subject.

Bowling Green State University (BGSU) is a public undergraduate school located in Bowling Green, Ohio. Founded in 1910, the college was originally developed as a teaching school. Though it is still one of the leading producers of teachers in the country, BGSU is most widely recognized for its American culture studies department and the one-of-a-kind pop culture department.
BGSU is a very reputable university with a wide variety of degree programs. Currently, the university offers degrees to both campus students and distance students. Subjects include science, economics, English, history, pre-law, psychology, theater and more. Campus students have over 200 degree programs to choose from and the school's distance program is growing each year.
Potential students will be pleased to know that BGSU is accredited by both the Higher Learning Commission and the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. Also worthy of mention is BGSU's literary journal, Mid-American Review, which is a nationally recognized publication of poetry, fiction and non-fiction.
Those who are in need of financial aid can apply through both BGSU and the federal government (using the FAFSA form). Loans, scholarships, grants and work study programs are available to qualifying students. Upon graduation, students may receive exit counseling and embark on a successful, exciting career of their choice.
