Benedictine University gives students two options. They can either study online full time, or they can blend online classes with weekend class meetings once a month. These options are presented to give students the opportunity to choose which environment they would prefer. Many people enjoy social interaction. During weekend sessions, students will get to meet other students and faculty members. They will participate in group learning that will reinforce skills they are learning online.
But for those who have busy schedules and do not need as much social interaction, taking strictly online classes should suit their needs. Courses are arranged the same way as traditional classes. Students are expected to complete all assignments on time and they should study at least 30 hours a week. Programs will take about two years to complete. There are nine programs to choose from which will allow students to pick an area to specialize in.
