Occupational Safety & Health Online Degree Programs

The study of occupational safety and health is one that is in demand in a growing field. With stricter laws, it has become more and more necessary for educated individuals to fill these job positions. The student that enrolls int his program will be working through various governmental agencies, in private practice as well as with business owners to insure that their businesses are safe for the individual to work in.

The student that enrolls in occupation safety and health will take a variety of courses including safety technology courses, industrial and food service hygiene, safety and first aid training, ergonomic design and compliance, loss prevention, safety protocol and much more. The goal of these courses will be to insure that the student learns how to protect a business and its employees from on the job injuries. A variety of field practices are available. Students will begin by earning a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Safety and Health but may also include a specialty in this field of study.
