This program teaches a dual approach, combining the study of theoretical research with the practical application of theory in the delivery of health care services. Specializations offered through this degree program include Community Health Promotion and Education as well as Health Management and Policy.

Studying online at Walden University is the perfect way for some students to earn their degree while maintaining their current lifestyle. Walden University has many advanced online degree programs in business, education, and nursing that students will be interested in pursuing. Students will be expected to study for up to twenty hours a week depending on the assignments and how quickly students can feel comfortable with the material. Reading, lectures, online discussions, and video and DVD instruction for some programs are the required methods for teaching classes.
