K-12 Education Online Degree Programs
K-12 Education is a term used to describe a degree in education. This degree prepares a student to teach in a kindergarten up to a 12th grade classroom. Coursework within the K-12 Education depends on what grade will be taught, which subject will be taught, and what type of institution the future teacher hopes to be hired into.
K-12 Education covers four specific areas — early childhood, elementary, middle, and high schools. In all cases, the K-12 Education will cover the basics of education, teaching techniques and trends, as well as grade appropriate studies. Furthering your studies and getting a higher K-12 degree can lead to becoming a teacher leader in your school or even an administrator.
The purpose of all that seek a K-12 Education is to teach young people and mold them into responsible, educated individuals. Those who choose to teach; whether in a classroom with the youngest of children to those in high school find it to be a rewarding and enjoyable career.
