The main objective of this business marketing program is to build a solid foundation of the various business disciplines that make up the core of an MBA degree. Students will cultivate a stance of confidence, objectivity, and vision necessary to make effective business decisions. Students will also master complexities of managing businesses and strengthen theoretical skills that pertain to marketing in modern business.

Each semester of this program runs eight weeks. Courses include Accounting, Advanced Management Strategy, Business Essentials, Finance, Marketing, and Statistics.

Originally founded in 1834, Tulane University has consistently been recognized as one of the top business research universities in the United States. Online classes are taught by the same experienced and degreed instructors that teach the in-person campus-based classes. Therefore, online students can expect a consistently high level of education with the convenience of learning at home.

Students completing online degrees from Tulane are in contact with staff and other classmates via e-mails, interactive chat rooms, and message boards. The online classes are kept small to allow time for professors and students to interact to ensure sufficient learning and communication. Coursework is designed to be practical and applicable as well as covering all relevant theory and current policies and practices in the given field. Students are encouraged to participate in group discussions via the Internet, and are provided access to streaming video, audio presentations, and CD-ROMs to assist with learning course content and material. Students may be eligible for financial aid through the University for online courses if they meet state and/or federal funding requirements.
