Students can choose to earn a bachelor's degrees or master's degrees in a wide variety of programs at Grand Canyon University Online. Classes are very small and students are required to work together in groups to complete projects and participate in online discussions. Learning in groups will allow people to form trusting relationships with others. Students are expected to log in to their workstations at least four times a week to study, discuss topics with students and instructors, and to work on assignments that will be due at certain times.
While the course work is done online, there is a schedule that will have to be followed. Exams may be given online even though most instructors prefer to use academic papers and projects to determine grades. Courses focus on developing reading, writing, discussion, and research skills to prepare students for success in any field.
Grand Canyon University Online offers people a chance to learn how to be better advance their career without having to leave their current position. Courses are eight weeks long.
