Theology Online Degree Programs
Religious studies, is a relatively new academic field. Unlike theology degrees, religious studies look at Christianity, Judaism, Buddhism, or Islam, and study diverse beliefs, and their influences in the lives and of all people, worldwide.
Religious studies majors often have an advantage, because they get the best of the humanities in one field of study. The main focus is on strong writing skills and the study of literature, history, art, and anthropology in one major, helping to develop keen analytical and interpretive skills. Many students of religious studies actually go on to careers in government, law, business, education, and medicine. A degree in religious studies helps anyone to interact with different people throughout their lives, no matter where their career choices take them.
Because of the breadth of career choices within a religious studies degree, it is difficult to pin down earnings potentials, but as is the case with the wide range of career choices, the earnings potentials are equally as wide ranging.
