Experienced conference interpreters earn as much as $100,000 a year. Federal governmental employees earn approximately $65,000 a year. Preschool through secondary teachers earn an average of $40,000 a year, and travel agents approximately $30,000 a year. Earnings potentials and employment fields abound, and the demand for foreign language majors continues to grow.
