1)Mark Twain Branch Detroit Public Library
This Detroit public library branch was built in 1914 with funds donated by Andrew Carnegie. It was closed on December 21st, 2011.

2) Detroit Public Schools Book Depository/ Roosevelt Park Warehouse
One Detroit’s many ruins is this school book depository where the public school system used to store its books.

3) East St. Louis Library
Some 10,000 books were mistakenly left behind when the library relocated (they were retrieved 4 years later).

This abandoned manor house was once home to John Milton. It’s located in the English countryside.

5) Abandoned School Library off the Yuen Tsuen Ancient Trail, Hong Kong

The small town of Pripyat in Russia was built for the workers at the Chernobyl power station.
