West Coast University concentrates teaching efforts at this time on the ever growing and evolving field of health care, the fastest growing industry in the United States. You can achieve an Associate of Science or a Bachelor of Science Degree in Health Care Administration, with a curriculum that covers a wide variety of topics ranging from Health Assessment and Evaluation to Accounting in the Health Care Environment. The Associate Degree in Nursing takes you from a level of LVN (licensed vocational nurse) to RN (registered nurse), preparing you to sit for the National Council Licensure Exam (NCLEX). You'll cover topics from Leadership, Management, and Current Nursing Issues to Medical Surgical Nursing. The Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing takes you a step further and includes additional topics like pharmacology, nutrition, cultural pluralism, public health nursing, organizational development, and so on.
