The South Texas Vocational Technical Institute is a career-based post-secondary institute dedicated to the success of students in the workplace after graduation. Using hands-on experience in state of the art facilities as a basis for its programs, the school strives to provide students with real world knowledge and focused expertise in their chosen field of study, meeting the growing demands of employers in the workplace.

In the Business and Computers program at the South Texas Vocational Technical Institute, you can aspire to training as an Administrative Specialist, Computer Accounting Specialist, or Computer Office Specialist. The Healthcare program includes training for Clinical Lab Technicians, Medical Administrative and Coding Specialists, Nurse Assistants, Patient Care Technicians, Medical Assistants, Pharmacy Technicians, and Phlebotomy Technicians. The Legal department can train you as a Legal Office Specialist or Paralegal/Legal Assistant, and you can also choose to enroll in the Massage Therapy program. There is even a program to help train for the General Educational Diploma (GED), the equivalent to a high school diploma, as well as an Intensive English Language program for non-native speakers.

With locations in Brownsville, McAllen, and Weslaco, there are campuses of the South Texas Vocational Technical Institute convenient to potential students all across southern Texas.
