If you are interested in Traditional Chinese Medicine, PCU offers three different programs to guide you down a path toward your goal. As a TCM Herbalist program graduate, you'll develop a thorough understanding of herbology and prescription medications. For further advancement, the TCM Practitioner program prepares you for the ability to work in medicine without delving into prescription based health care. You'll gain practical knowledge of acupuncture and herbalist medicine, gaining a complete understanding of alternative health treatments. Upon completion of the Doctor of TCM program, you'll learn about modern clinical research in the area, as well how acupuncture can be used to diagnose and treat psychiatric disorders. You'll also gain knowledge of botanical pharmacology and toxicology. Other programs are more specialized, including Spa Therapy, Chinese Massage, and Acupuncture studies.
