The Oregon Culinary Institute was founded on the basis of providing a complete, affordable, and practical education in the culinary arts to students aspiring to meet the needs of potential employers in the food and hospitality industries. The Culinary Arts Diploma program is more in-depth and focuses on providing training for work in a commercial kitchen, taught by chef instructors to prepare you to work as short order and line cooks, assistant chefs, and more. The degree program is available to students who have completed the diploma program.
