Founded in 1882, Northwestern College has been providing students a quality post-secondary education for 125 years. Originally intended as a preparatory school for college and the ministry, the Academy grew rapidly and became a junior college in 1928 and a four-year college in 1957. Over the decades, more and more curriculums and academic programs leading to degrees have been added, allowing students further opportunities to pursue careers of interest with the proper education and preparation provided by Northwestern College.
You can choose from a plethora of major studies in which to concentrate, running the gamut of interests on which to focus. Medical field offerings include Medical Technology and Nursing, while fine arts include Music, Music Education, Journalism, Art, Theatre and Speech, and Writing and Rhetoric. There are also several choices for majors in fields of science, mathematics, Business Administration (choose concentrations in Agri-Business, Finance, Human Resources, Management, or Marketing), and more. There are over 40 different distinct choices for majors at Northwestern College, all of which can help prepare you and lead you to a successful and fulfilling career upon graduation.
