If you think that college and higher education has to take years for completion and obtaining a degree, you haven't learned about the career-based programs offered at Midwest Institute. At this innovative school, where programs are dedicated to imparting knowledge and skills directly related to the career that a student has chosen to pursue, certification programs can be completed in just 7 to 12 months, depending on the program in question. In fact, an associate degree can be achieved in as little as 14 months and no more than 24 months. The scheduling is flexible as well, with full and part time, day and evening programs available.

Midwest Institute can help you find the right path into the medical industry with several options that cater to your interests. For hands-on patient care in a medical environment, choose to go through the Medical Assistant program, or specialize in the Dental Assistant program. For more holistic treatment, train as a Massage Therapist. If you enjoy customer service and administrative work, train as a Medical Office Computer specialist or Pharmacy Technician. If you would prefer to work with animals, you can even enroll in the Veterinary Technician program.

All programs offer an internship or clinic at the Midwest Institute, meaning that no graduate leaves the program without real life experience in their line of study. Of course, the entire basis for education in these programs is hands-on activities, enabling students to get a feel for the work they will be doing in a realistic environment, but the culmination of the program in an internship allows them to enter into a position in the workforce with confidence in their abilities to handle a high-demand environment. When you graduate from Midwest Institute, you graduate with skills for a career as well as skills for life.
