Midland Lutheran College is a four-year college offering a number of major and pre-professional concentration programs for aspiring students. Based on a core curriculum of basic math and language skills as well as foreign language competency and a set of nine distributed knowledge areas, the liberal arts college truly aims for graduates to be open minded with a broad spectrum of diverse knowledge and views imparted through the innovative curriculum upheld at the college.

Majors and concentrations available at Midland Lutheran College include both liberal arts and science disciplines. All students will expected to take part in a well-rounded education, with 1/3 of studies coming from each of three academic programming areas as designated by Midland Lutheran College. The core curriculum, as described above, constitutes one area, while major requirements based on the chosen field of study are a second. The third area is comprised of electives that complement and supplement the desired program, including options for achieving a minor or second major, work related directly to the major, or exploratory courses in a variety of fields.
