With schools in four states, the MedVance Institute is dedicated to providing the knowledge and practical skills students need to succeed in today's growing healthcare industry. The programs at MedVance are career-based, with concentrated coursework that can take individuals out of the classroom and into the workplace in less than a year, depending on the program chosen. All the programs at the institute are geared for quick study, training students for careers in applied healthcare in six to 24 months.
MedVance can offer lucrative careers in several health care professions, with many types of qualifying programs. The Massage Therapy program prepares students to sit for the national exam for certification. Other specialized program options include Medical or Medical Office Administration, Medical Assisting, Medical Coding, Medical Laboratory or Phlebotomy Technician, Radiology or Sterile Processing Technician, Surgical Technician, Pharmacy Technician, Patient Care Technician, or Practical Nursing. With multiple schools across Texas, Louisiana, Tennessee, and Florida offering varieties of these studies (several offering Associate of Occupational Studies Degrees for many of their programs as accredited), there is a convenient location where you can pursue your higher education at an accelerated rate.
Financial aid is available to those who qualify, and MedVance even has a special relationship with Dell Computers, allowing students to purchase the computer system they need at discounted prices. Since its original establishment in Cookeville, Tennessee in June of 1970 as the Cumberland School of Medical Technology, MedVance has had a tradition of excellence in training and education in the applied healthcare industry. Students receive the best instruction and become some of the most skilled individuals in the industry, placing them first in line for job opportunities requiring the skills they've acquired through their studies.
