Originally founded by the Christian Brothers in the fall of 1940, Iona College today has achieved tremendous growth, no longer a single building but now a 35-acre campus in Westchester County, New York. With the background of Christian morals, dedication to success, and incredible study and work ethic, the achievement level of students at Iona College is above and beyond average. Class sizes are kept small for individual attention that leads to faster and better imparting of knowledge and skills, and dedicated faculty and staff maintain a rigorous curriculum as well as the motivation to help students succeed.
Iona School of Arts and Sciences offers over 40 baccalaureate degrees, including Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Science, and Bachelor of Professional Studies degrees. You can also choose to continue your education with one of over 20 Masters and certificate programs on the graduate level. The Iona Hagan School of Business has even more to offer, with programs focusing on Accounting; Finance, Business Economics, and Legal Studies; Information and Decision Technology Management, Management and Business Administration, and Marketing and International Business.
Enrollment at Iona College offers more than just a technical education for students. It also provides the feeling of community in the campus lifestyle, promotes social awareness and comprehension with activities and true population diversity, and imparts the personal skills necessary to succeed not only in business and career opportunities but also in life as a whole. The school's reputation rides high, and low student to faculty ratio creates an intimate and promising educational environment that leads to confidence and fulfillment. Tuition assistance is available, and career services can also be obtained by graduates to help prepare resumes, learn interviewing skills, and even make contact with employers in need of professionals with the student's qualifications.
