When you decide to attend the International College of Hospitality Management in Suffield, Connecticut, you'll find yourself in a beautiful campus environment only 90 minutes from Boston and 15 minutes from the airport in Hartford. ICHM is the only college in the state that offers a degree in culinary arts, making it stand out in the crowd of career-based colleges and student-centered training facilities. With programs that can help you achieve a degree in as little as 18 months in an accelerated, career-concentrated program, ICHM offers curricula that are applicable, fast paced, and comprehensive in nature. Paid internships also assist in imparting necessary experience for students' career futures with additional hands-on training in a real working environment.
Depending on your individual focus requirements for the culinary and hospitality industries, you can opt to enroll in different programs offered by the International College of Hospitality and Management. The 3-month Concentration in Events Management program can prepare you for entry-level careers in resort and recreation marketing and convention planning. The Certificate in Hospitality Management program is a one-year study that is followed by an 800-hour paid internship. You can also choose one of two Associate of Science Degree programs, focusing either on Culinary Arts Management or Hospitality Management.
