Now a part of the Kaplan Higher Education Corporation conglomerate (with some 70+ other schools), Heritage College continues to build a tradition for excellence in higher education through career-oriented training programs. Rather than stumble through years of unrelated coursework in an attempt to achieve your career goals, Heritage provides accelerated programs that are focused on the particular career that you have in mind, helping you to achieve your goals faster and more efficiently so that you can begin to pursue work in the field and benefit from the skills and knowledge you've gained.
Heritage College provides Diplomas and Associate of Arts Degrees in several categories, training individuals for careers in criminal justice, computer professions, and the healthcare industry. Earn a Diploma or Degree in Computer Business Systems and receive hands-on training that prepares you as a computer operator, accounting clerk, bookkeeper, or office administrator. In the field of allied healthcare, you can earn either a Diploma or Degree in any of the programs offered, including Medical Assistant, Medical Insurance Coder and Biller, and Pharmacy Technician. If you are interested in a career in law enforcement or crime, you can earn an Associate Degree in Criminal Justice, earning experience that prepares you for a career as a detentional or correctional officer, private investigator, probation or parole officer, or public safety official.
In addition to the availability of loans, grants, scholarships, and other forms of financial aid for those who qualify, Heritage College can help to set you up with the Federal Work-Study program. You can also take advantage of Career Services, a department that can help current students part-time work to help pay their way through college without disrupting the educational schedule and can also assist graduates with job placement, using networking skills and contacts to set them up with employers needing their talents and know-how.
