Founded in 1974, the College of Legal Arts in Oregon has been assisting students in preparing for and entering the legal and law enforcement industry for over 30 years. With five different programs in the legal arts to choose from, students can find a challenging and exciting field into which they can enter achieve a long-lived career.

The College of Legal Arts offers training in career courses that are geared to prepare students for the real world, focusing on areas of law and legal skills. The Correctional Officer training program prepares individuals for positions in Oregon's legal system, with opportunities in Homeland or private security, prison systems, or federal protection services. If you choose the Court Reporting program, you'll have other career options such as television broadcast captionist, medical transcriptionist, and scopist. Choose to enroll in the Medical Transcription program to open up opportunities in a physician's office, transcribing chart notes, letters, pathology, memos, reports, and more. As a graduate of the Paralegal Studies program, you'll be qualified to work investigating facts, conducting research, and assisting lawyers with various tasks.

Classes are kept small at the College of Legal Arts, with some programs allowing no more than 12 students to a classroom setting, guaranteeing more personalized instruction and attention. Regardless of which study program you choose, you can rest assured that the education provided comes from knowledgeable field professionals with years of experience and expertise that will enrich your studies and provide you with an inside look at and opinion on the field in which you aspire to begin a long-term career.
