If you grew up playing with toy trucks and talking pistons and engines with your friends, you might be interested in a career offered by the Automotive Training Center, with locations in Exton and Warminster, Pennsylvania. The school is full of opportunities to work with a number of vehicles while learning skills that can create a basis for your future career. Founded as a division of Spring Garden College in 1917, the training center has been providing quality career-oriented education for some of the best technicians in the country for nearly a century. Now, with the additional technology available, there are even perks to attending programs at the training center that include a Computer Library/Resource Center with Internet-ready student computer workstations.
At the Automotive Training Center, you'll find training available in automotive, diesel and hi-performance, collision, and marine vehicles. The training center also offers specialty programs related to the vehicular requirements in the state of Pennsylvania. You can receive a certification in Pennsylvania State Safety Inspection or Pennsylvania Enhanced Emission Inspection.
Previous graduates of the Automotive Training Center have found long-term employment with lucrative firms and businesses, including mechanics for the Red Cross and US Army Transportation Corps (during World War I). Since then, the training center has expanded and improved drastically, offering convenient evening programs and adding accreditation that allows the bestowal of Master Certification in many areas (fully accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges of Technology).
