The Art Institute of California offers exciting career education opportunities in a number of visual and culinary arts, ranging from cooking and baking to graphic design and video production, with a plethora of other options as well. Unlike many schools, the institute offers a year-round program so that students can work on their degrees uninterrupted, leading to a more fastidious completion and entry into the field of work. The Art Institute of California in Los Angeles (with a Santa Monica branch open since 1997) prepares students for entry level positions on career paths that they will enjoy.
The institute's most basic program is the Baking & Pastry diploma path which has an externship that encourages development through real world experience. Students at the Art Institute of California can also achieve an Associate of Science Degree in Graphic Design, Interactive Media Design, Video Production, and Culinary Arts, or they can strive for a Bachelor of Science Degree in these as well as Audio Production, Media & Arts Animation, Interior Design, Culinary Management, Game Art & Design, and Digital Filmmaking.
The Art Institute of California is fully accredited by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools, and with 107,000 square feet of classrooms, studios, labs, offices, a library, an exhibition gallery, a student lounge, and an art supply store, the institute is fully equipped to train with authority. Students will find small classes taught by a faculty with knowledge and field experience to guide them through the program and help them take the first steps in a successful career in culinary or visual arts.
