Social Networks Global Growth Charted
comScore, a leading reporter of current Web trends, has released a new study tracking the growth of such social network behemoths as MySpace, Facebook, and Bebo between June 2006 and June 2007. While MySpace still dominates the market receiving over 114 million worldwide visitors this past June, it’s the growth rate of Facebook that’s the big news here. Within the last year, Facebook has steadily spread its sphere of influence to grow by an astounding 270%. Similarly Bebo has shown a growth rate of 170%, both leaving MySpace in the dust at a 72% increase. Read the full report.
